More robotic advancements. This robot (named Botler) uses its cameras and sensors to make its way around the Aloft Silicon Valley Hotel's corridors. It can sense when doors are opened and delivers room service to customers. It is possible for robots to be the future of hospitality industries, from hotels to hospitals. More advanced robots mean easier workloads and less risk to humans in dangerous situations. Eg: delivering things in and out of mines or looking after a quarantined patient at a hospital- a robot such as this could be sent in rather than a human. |
