To illustrate the previous full video on teaching, learning and doing research via social media in a university setting, here is an Infographic on Christina Costa. It doesn’t look as great as I’d like – need to improve my design skills!! – but this was pretty easy to create. A great way to illustrate one’s experience.

I Love cloud-based education and schools as think-tanks. What the article demonstrates is that children can be natural teachers, They can teach basic chemistry and physics which many adults have not mastered. Learning from children is easy as they make things simple and they are not judgmental. Go to the website http:www.homeschoolsource.co.uk and search under "Solutions" for educational toys. Select a subject with which you are not familiar or found difficult to understand when you were at school. Give it to a children. Once they have mastered it they will be able to explain it to you in such simple terms, you will be amazed. Go on try it.

Peer Learning embraces learning from your peers’ experiences and insights.
How does Peer Learning work? Peer Learning involves a group (called a “Circle”) of anywhere from 8 to 15 people. [It may be people from all of one strata, such as Executive Directors] meeting on a regular (monthly) basis, and discussing issues of common concern or interest.
Over the course of several meetings, participants develop a strong level of trust and familiarity with their peers in the Circle, which facilitates effective sharing and powerfully supportive dialogue among all participants.
The Circle meetings are managed by an experienced facilitator, to ensure that agreed ground rules are followed, and that all participants benefit from the process. While structured, the sessions are generally free-flowing, fast-paced and energizing.
Veterans of past Peer Learning offerings commonly report that it is the most significant professional development opportunity that they have experienced.
What does the Circle discuss? The Circle members decide this for themselves at each meeting, setting the topic of discussion for the following meeting.
Depending on the topic agreed upon, the facilitator may select one or two resource articles to circulate to the group in advance of the next meeting, in order to provide basic information and context for the discussion.

I love that point Martin! I think people call it social because of the personal element to it as opposed to advertising and things like that, especially because it's so interactive in nature. Do you have a suggestion as to what to change the name to?

A good content curator has to sift through tons of content, quickly and efficiently, finding what is both relevant and good quality.
So what does a good content curator look like?
1) Really Long Arms:
You have the expanded reach to know the smaller players with a unique perspective, the powerhouse publishers, and all of the niche players. This allows for a healthy variety of content, with differing perspectives.
2) Super Fast Scanning Eyes:
An efficient content curator knows how to scan an article for legitimacy, value, and relevance to their target market.
3) A Raised Eyebrow:
Each time you come upon something new, your eyebrow is already up, because you’re there to sniff it out to make sure it’ll pass the test. People will lose interest in what you share and you will hurt your credibility if you share content that isn’t high quality.
4) A Belly Full of Hunger:
Good content curators love what they do and are passionate about traversing the wide expanse of the web to find the best content possible."

From the ability to search and tap into sources that should not be what everyone else is looking at, to the ability to know in and out its chosen niche of interest and its players, the good content curator has an uncanny talent for scanning, selecting and triple-verifying anything potentially interesting before even considering showcasing in its selections.

When someone connects to the Internet (s)he needs (he doesn't see it BTW) to connect trough different other service located in the US and somewhere else before (s)he gets his Internet connection (right!?), SO (s)he needs to pass through a lot of different services...
When searching a website on Internet one mostly finds some located in countries where "Security" isn't really taken that serious and one risks an infection of the connected device (right!?) when connecting device (computer, anyOs, SmartPhone, tablet, BYOD)!

That would be what the Internet in 21st Century MUST be!

The world has reached a point of inflection in cybercrime. As cyberspace abounds with cyber privateers, and many nations of the world become havens for these modern-day pirates, it appears that 2013 is the year of hacking for criminal gain.
In our recently released predictions for 2013, our CTO Raimund Genes illustrated his strategic vision per the future of cybercrime. The predictions highlight improvements in threats we will encounter in 2013, more specifically on the attack vectors used by cybercriminals. Raimund predicts that attackers will shift their strategy from developing sophisticated malware to focusing on the means to infiltrate networks and evade detection.
