The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) annual report on philanthropy in higher education 

The Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) annual report on philanthropy in higher education for the UK and Ireland finds that the total new funds pledged to universities in 2022–23 was £1.43 billion – though around half of this went to Oxford and Cambridge. The report, based on a survey of 92 participating universities, summarises donor numbers and institutional investment in staff and campaigns and suggests that the declines in individual giving appear “inexorable” while
