July 17 – Barcelona and Manchester United are among a group of clubs punished by UEFA in the latest round of Financial Fair Play sanctions.
Barca have been fined €500,000 for wrongly reporting profits from “disposal of intangible assets” that should not have been accounted for as income according to FFP rules.
United must pay €300,000 for “minor breakeven deficits” for the financial years spanning between 2019 and 2022.
