TouchCast is an amazing free tool for creating videos enhanced with bits and pieces from the web and enabling you to explore the additional information without stopping the playback. This can be done with the help of special video apps that let you insert extra content into your video, such as maps, Twitter feeds, photo galleries, newspaper articles, polls, etc. TouchCast was first available for iPad and now it can also be used on your PC. Great possibilities for educational use!

A première, un concept intéressant pour dynamiser et rendre interactives des productions vidéos... A voir ce qu'il est réellement possible de faire avec une App iPad pour importer de bonnes séquences vidéo et éditer un produit efficacement.

They can also post video, audio or written comments straight in the browser. Interactive graph displays real-time color-coded responses from the audience.

I have a feeling that there will be many more video projects next year with the implementation of iPads. This is a great tool to use when commenting on a video.

This looks interesting but it would be useful to have a bit more information about it and a demo of how it works. I like the 'blackboard' style used in the video!
