Stay with this article as it picks up speed the more you read. The new concept to me is the idea of "semantic" correctness. Since HTML tags can be used in many way knowing the "semantically correct" way to tag your markup protects meaning and SEO now and in the future.
In the future HOW use a tag will be as important as what tag you are using. Semantics will be attached so learning to correctly "semantically code" is going to be THE NEXT SEO.
